Moore-Eckel Scholarship Application 2024
The Moore-Eckel Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Mount alumna Sharron Moore Eckel, a life-long teacher, and her brother Harold Hollaender Moore, an advertising executive, both lifetime residents of Ohio. The $1,500 award is presented each year to students who meet eligibility requirements and major in education, business, or art.
Eligibility:
Any new first-year student who has been accepted at the Mount.
Majoring in education, business, or art (must include portfolio if majoring in art).
Demonstrates academic talent and the ability to maintain a 3.0 grade point average while at the Mount. Scholarship is renewable up to eight (8) consecutive semesters, provided the recipient is enrolled as a full time undergraduate, continues to major in education, business, or art, and maintains a 3.0 GPA.
ART PORTFOLIOS ARE DUE JANUARY 15. ALL OTHER COMPLETED APPLICATIONS ARE DUE JANUARY 31. APPLICATIONS ARE COMPLETE ONLY WHEN ALL MATERIALS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
