MOSAIC Scholarship Application

The MOSAIC Scholars Program invites high-achieving prospective students from historically underrepresented populations and students who commit to promoting a deeper understanding of and appreciation for diversity to apply and engage with the program.

Students accepted in the MOSAIC Scholars Program will be eligible for the MOSAIC Scholarship. The MOSAIC Scholarship values $2,500 annually. Students can "stack" this scholarship with other awards, which means multiple scholarships can be used for student expenses. In addition, the scholarship is renewable for participants that meet program requirements.

Students accepted to the MOSAIC Scholars Program must meet the following criteria:

Be accepted to Mount St. Joseph University as an incoming first-year, adult, or transfer student.
Minimum of 2.50 GPA.
Demonstrated leadership/co-curricular involvement with diversity, equity, and inclusion activities (outlined in a personal statement).
Completed personal statement.

Personal Statement: As part of your MOSAIC Scholars Program application, you must include a personal statement. In 150-200 words total, please respond to the prompts below:
Please tell us how you define diversity, equity, and inclusion; what diversity, equity, and inclusion mean to you; how have you demonstrated a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in high school; and how you will contribute to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive community at the Mount.

Scholarship awards are made at the sole discretion of Mount St. Joseph University. By submitting this scholarship application, applicants, on behalf of themselves and their parents, guardians, spouses, heirs, and assigns (as applicable), waive any and all claims against Mount St. Joseph University and its employees, officers, directors, representatives, and volunteers related to, in connection with, or arising from applying for this scholarship, including, but not limited to, a decision that results in applicant not receiving a scholarship in any amount.
