Mission Ambassador Award Application 2025
The Mission Ambassador Award will provide opportunities for students to serve as Mission Ambassadors through the Office of Mission Integration. Students will serve as campus ministry leaders of interfaith prayer, assist with student retreat experiences, serve as prayer leaders, engage in service activities, and assume leadership for other mission integration events throughout the academic year.
The Mission Ambassador Award is a $2,000 renewable award, $1,000 per semester. The award is renewable for up to eight (8) consecutive semesters, provided the recipient is enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program, maintains higher than 2.5 grade point average, and is actively involved as a Mission Ambassador.
Criteria to be considered for the award:
Admitted unconditionally to Mount St. Joseph University for the Fall 2025 with a 2.5 or higher cumulative grade point average.
Exhibit an openness to persons of other faith traditions.
Submit a Letter of Recommendation from someone able to speak to your character, leadership abilities, and dedication to service (excluding family and friends).
Submit a personal essay (up to 300 words). Write a personal statement sharing your thoughts on servant leadership and how your values align with those of Mount St. Joseph University.
