    The MOSAIC Scholars Program at Mount St. Joseph University supports high-achieving students who commit to showing respect and concern for all persons, and an appreciation for all cultures and beliefs. This program is designed to develop a community of bridge-builders who see, value, and honor the diverse backgrounds and experiences of others, which enriches campus life for all. Through intentional programming, MOSAIC Scholars serve as campus leaders who celebrate and create a sense of belonging for all persons on campus and beyond.  
     
    Individuals selected as MOSAIC Scholars receive a $2,000 annual award of $1,000 per semester, renewable for up to eight (8) consecutive fall/spring semesters, provided the recipient is enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program at the Mount, maintains a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average, and is actively involved in MOSAIC Scholar programming.   
     
    Criteria to be considered for selection as a MOSAIC Scholar: 

    • Admitted unconditionally to Mount St. Joseph University for Fall 2026 with a 2.5 or higher cumulative grade point average in high school or from a transferring institution; 
    • Has shown respect and concern for all persons, and an appreciation for all cultures and beliefs; 
    • Submit a Letter of Recommendation from a former teacher, employer, or mentor who confirms your leadership abilities (letters from family or friends do not meet this criterion):
    • Submit a video essay on what motivates you to be a part of the MOSAIC Scholars program, and how you plan to contribute to a community of belonging for all persons at the Mount and beyond, limited to no more than 2 minutes (Get Video Submission Guide Here); and
    • Submit all of the above by the January 31st deadline and as instructed below.

    Scholarship awards are made at the sole discretion of Mount St. Joseph University.  By submitting this scholarship application, applicants, on behalf of themselves and their parents, guardians, spouses, heirs, and assigns (as applicable), waive any and all claims against Mount St. Joseph University and its employees, officers, directors, representatives, and volunteers related to, in connection with, or arising from applying for this scholarship, including, but not limited to, a decision that results in applicant not receiving a scholarship in any amount.
