Schmidlapp Scholarship Application
Schmidlapp Scholarships are awarded to three (3) female students who demonstrate academic achievement and will be pursuing the following disciplines: biology, chemistry, mathematics, or computer science.
Eligibility:
Must be a female first-year student who has been accepted at the Mount.
Majoring in biology, chemistry, mathematics, or computer science.
Reside within a 60 mile radius of the University.
Have a strong college preparatory curriculum in high school.
Demonstrates academic talent and the ability to maintain a 3.5 grade point average while at the Mount. This $5,000 scholarship is renewable up to eight (8) consecutive semesters, provided the recipient is enrolled as a full time undergraduate at Mount St. Joseph University, continues to major in biology, chemistry, mathematics, or computer science, and maintains a 3.5 GPA.
Personal Statement
: Write a brief statement outlining your education and career goals. Please limit responses to 500 words or less.
COMPLETED APPLICATIONS ARE DUE JANUARY 31. APPLICATIONS ARE COMPLETE ONLY WHEN ALL MATERIALS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
